Seconds Frustrated, Firsts prepare for CIE Showdown

The seconds' struggles at Rockfield Park continued as they played out a frustrating draw with Tymon Bawn, meaning they still have just one home win all season, despite their superb form on the road. They fell behind early on but levelled through Conan Byrne and saw a rake of second half chances go begging as they had to settle for a point. Full match report is here. 

The firsts still need another win or two to make sure of survival in LSL Major 1B. Next up is a home match against CIE Ranch on Thursday, with a 6.45 kick-off at Rockfield Park. It's a repeat of the opening fixture of the season, when the sides played out a largely uneventful scoreless draw.. Seaford's recent winning streak came to a shuddering halt with a pair of chastening defeats in the past fortnight, but will be motivated by the knowledge that a win would move them ahead of their opponents in the table.
