In a rare coincidence, both Seaford sides will face the same opposition club this weekend, as the Majors welcome Pegasus St James's to Rockfield Park on Saturday afternoon, at the same time as the Premiers will travel to Rosemount Park to take on Pegs.
The clubs are meeting for the first time at Major 1A level, with both sides new to the division for the 2019/20 season, arriving from different directions. Seaford have made a strong start following promotion, with their only league defeat being the midweek midweek loss to Columbas Rovers early in the season,, which has been followed up with back-to-back wins over Kilnamanagh and Killester Donnycarney. Pegasus for their part are just two points behind in the table, so it promises to be another tight match. The Premiers on the other hand have met PSJ frequently over the past couple of years, completing a home and away double in the league last campaign as well as a win in the Rockfield Cup, and have already prevailed in the reverse fixture early in the 2019/20 campaign, when goals from Dave Higgins and Stephen Canavan made it three points for the Penguins.
