The Majors start a fortnight's break from league campaign with a Leinster Junior Cup first round tie against ROC Celtic.
It's been a difficult season so far for Alan Burns's men, who have found life tough going in the second tier of LSL Saturday after two consecutive promotions. An opening-day win over Templeogue United was followed by a five-game winless streak, culminating in a chastening defeat at Ballymun United last time out. But that difficult run was characterised by a host of key men being unavailable, and with a shortening injury list and the end of the holiday season, it is expected that a number of important players will make their return in Ballyfermot this weekend. The hosts are a new club who have so far had a flawless record in their short existence, winning all five of their matches in UCFL Division 2, so the Penguins are expecting a tough game as they travel to Le Fanu Park. The following week will see Seaford on the road again, this time to face Usher Celtic in the FAI Junior Cup.
