The club's poor start to the season continued as the seconds lost 4-1 aginast a young and energetic Mid Sutton side in Division 3.
Recent signing Stephen Johnson-Barker, making his first start, gave Seaford an early lead but there followed a lesson in ruthless finishing from Mid Sutton's pacey striker, who rattled in four unanswered goals either side of half time. Seaford finished the game strongly and were desperately unlucky not to close the deficit, with Johnson-Barker and then sub Mark O'Brien both rattling the crossbar with vicious 20 yard strikes, but in truth the gulf in class between the sides was such that a comeback was never likely.
