![]() Mixed fortunes for the club this past weekend as Saturday's double-header at Rockfield Park produced a comfortable win and a heavy defeat. After a season characterised by draws, single-goal defeats and equally narrow wins, the firsts finally produced a performance first-class display to secure a 5-0 over St James's Gate and ease their relegation anxiety. The front four of MJ Tierney, Garrett Connolly, Darragh Connolly and Kohei Masaki made and scored all five goals between them, but it was an equally impressive display at the other end of the pitch, where fullbacks Ian Nolan and Fionn Geoghegan were redeployed in central defence to great effect.
