After a difficult few weeks, the club bounced back this weekend, with wins for both teams.
The firsts battled back from 3-1 down early in the second half to eventually win 4-3 after extra time against Beggsboro in the Leinster Junior Cup. Garrett Connolly had given Seaford an early lead, only for the men in blue to fall behind by half time, and the cup run looked over when the visitors added a third on 56 minutes. But Darragh Connolly pulled one back, and Kohei Masaki's late header caused a draw at the end of normal time ,with Conor Tobin slotting home a 94th minute to secure progress to Round Three. Read all about it here.. The seconds delivered a ruthless display of attacking football to hammer Earl Celtic 6-2 in the later kick-off. Ryan Scollard and Peter Tierney netted inside three minutes, with both strikers going on to collect second goals, before Robbie Murray and MJ Tierney increased the margin of victory.
