Easter Weekend Preview

Both teams are in action on Easter Saturday, commencing what promises to be a very busy final few weeks to the season.

The firsts take on Clondalkin Celtic  at 12.00pm in Rockfield Park for a place in the last eight of the Carroll Cup. The visitors may be two divisions below, in Major 1D, but are unbeaten in six league matches and, with games in hand, could still climb into contention in the promotion race. Seaford come into the game in strong form after three league wins in the bounce, even if they almost came unstuck in the previous round against FC Transylvania. 

Later on Saturday afternoon, the seconds travel to face league-leaders Balbriggan (3.00pm, Bremore Astro). Balbriggan have been in terrific form all season in Division 3, vying with Ayrfield United for the title, but one of the few matches they didn't win was in the return fixture at Rockfield Park when a spectacular strike from Dave Devaney (right) earned Seaford a point and Tony Bennett's men will be hoping for an other upset on Saturday.
