Charitable Donations

In light of the on-going crisis that is afflicting so many people in so many ways, we took the decision to use some of the funds we have built up from our fundraising efforts over the years to support some worthy causes which we felt were especially deserving of our support at this time.

Such was the enthusiasm among the club’s membership for this idea, that we have more than doubled the amount which was initially proposed, and we have made charitable donations in excess of €2,000 , to a variety of recipients chosen by our players.

These include:

• Irish Cancer Society
• Alzheimer's Society of Ireland 
• Irish Guide Dogs 
• Support4Drummo
• Irish Wheelchair Association

We hope that our donations can help make a small difference in these difficult times, and we invite our followers to consider supporting, in any way they can, these or other causes, whose need has never been greater.
