Tyrone McNelis
Position: AM RLC/ST
A winger or striker with blistering pace and an abundance of ability on the ball, Tyrone joined the club in the summer of 2016 having previously had League of Ireland experience with UCD and Cabinteely. He marked his first team debut with a stunning long-range volley at home to St James’s Gate, and followed it up with a brace against Kilnamanagh two days later.
Although work commitments interfered with his availability, he maintained a record of scoring on nearly every appearance, for either team, until the end of the calendar year.
His season was ended prematurely by a horrific shoulder injury in the firsts' clash with Hartstown, but he returned in time for the start of the 2017/18 season, netting on his first start of the campaign away at Clontarf.
