Match Report: St Patricks CY 0-2 Seaford Rock United
LSL Saturday Major 1

Seaford moved up to second place in the table with a solid display and another three points at Irishtown Stadium.
The Penguins weren't at their best during the first half but still had the better of the chances, such as when Dan Kennedy found Ryan Scollard on the right win, who fired into the side-netting, and when Darragh Roche picked out Stephen Canavan only for the striker to head just off-target . The closest Pats came was when Colum O'Connor forced a point-blank save from Oisin Geoghegan on 31 minutes.
The visitors flew out of the traps after half-time and two quick goals put them in a commanding position. The first was all down to a brilliant assist from Roche on an overlapping run. His whipped cross was met by Jamie McCaul with a bullet header to break the deadlock.
The second also came down Seaford's right, as Jimmy Hussey squared perfectly for Canavan , who couldn't miss.
Seaford were flying now and it should have been 0-3 moments later when Scollard beat keeper Andy Dwyer to the ball 40 yards from goal, but he tried to beat Kevn Dufournet before applying the finish and the Pats defender got a foot in to deny a certain goal. Then Canavan was inches from bagging his second, meeting a Scollard cross with a thumping volley, but it was just too high.
The Penguins saw the game out comfortably as the defence marshalled by Al Kennedy and, Sam Browne repelled Pats' attempts to make a comeback, and the result means it's just one defeat in ten for Alan Burns.'s men as they maintain their promotion charge,
