Match Report: St Kevin's Boys 3-1 Seaford Rock United
LSL Saturday Major 1B
The last vestiges of Seaford's promotion campaign disappeared as they were beaten 3-1 for the third consecutive Saturday, this time by champions St Kevin's Boys,
It was the best Seaford display of the recent rotten spell, and .Garrett Connolly had already gone close with a volley after his brother Darragh's cross wasn't dealt with before Sam Browne put the visitors in front, racing to the near post to thump home Alex Smirnoff's low corner.
Kevins equalised on 32 in unusual circumstances, when they were awarded a free kick on the edge of the box for an off-the-ball incident while the play was going on elsewhere on the pitch, and Ciaran Doyne picked out the top corner.
Approaching the hour mark, Graham Raynor made it 2-1 with breathtaking lob from inside his own half that dropped just under the crossbar, before the same man added another shortly after to seal the win.
Seaford: Oisin Geoghegan; Stephen Kelly (Jim Nolan, 67), Paul Tansey, Cian McGuinness, Ian Nolan, Sam Browne (Mike O'Neill, 78), Owen Brayden, Alex Smirnoff (David Higgins, 67), Darragh Connolly, Garrett Connolly (Stephen Canavan, 67), Mark Sullivan (Fionn Lawlor, 73)
