It’s eight defeats in the bounce for Seaford as their season limps to a conclusion.
In was a scrappy game on a difficult pitch at St Anne’s Park,. Jack McNeice opened the scoring for Raheny after cutting in from the left wing, , and Luke Corrigan doubled their lead on the half hour. Shane Halpin had had a goal disallowed for offside in between and the Penguins notched one that did count when Owen Petticrew volleyed home from close range from a Conor Fennell corner.
Mate Salacan briefly leveled the score with a curled free kick, before Raheny re-took the lead as Darragh Farrell’s shot ricocheted fortuitously into Paddy Dandy’s path and he slotted home .
Farrell then added a fourth from the penalty spot after Luke Hedderman had fouled 9, and moments later McNeice spun in the box to make it 5-2.
Fennell pulled another one back from a Chris Monk cross but the hosts had the final say as John Hyland added their sixth.
