Match Report: Seaford Rock United 1-1 Tymon Bawn
LSL Saturday Division 3

Seaford endured a frustrating evening , missing countless second half chances to secure all three points, having earlier fallen behind against Tymon Bawn.
The visitors made the brighter start and were desperately unlucky not to score twice in the opening three minutes. First, Seaford keeper Eoin English produced a stunning fingertip save to keep Pierce Deveraux's deflected shot out of the corner of his net, and seconds later he could do nothing to stop Ryan O'Grady long-range effort crash down off the crossbar and, seemingly, over the line, but the referee waved play on and Seaford managed to clear the danger.
But Tymon Bawn did take the lead on 16 minutes when Adam Finnegan left English short with an underhit backpass - a victim of the poor surface at Rockfield Park - and Alan Plummber pounced to round the keeper and slot home.
Seaford gained a footing in the match, with fullback Robbie Murray twice testing Jamie Quinn from long range, and Chris Monk and Conan Murphy both coming close to unlocking the blue defence with tricky footwork. The equaliser arrived on 33 minutes when Peter Tierney and Murray led a counter-attack, the latter laying in Conan Murphy to finish past Quinn for his third in five starts for Tony Bennett's men.
After the break, Seaford largely dominated. They were presented with a golden chance to take all three point when Ryan Scollard was hacked down in the box, but Mike O'Neill saw his spot-kick saved by Quinn. The home side saw several other chances going begging, two for Scollard and another for Collie Barrett who miscontrolled with the goal at his mercy. The final chance fell to Scollard in injury time, as he met Eoin Mahon's whipped cross with a powerful downward header, but it was just the wrong side of the point and moments later the final whistle blew.
Seaford: Eoin English, Shane Lauritsch, Robbie Murray, Adam Finnegan, Stephen Kelly, Amer Herenda (Mike O'Neill, 61), Fionn Geoghegan, Chris Monk, Conan Murphy (Eoin Mahon, 76) Ryan Scollard, Peter Tierney (Collie Barrett, 61).. Goal: Murphy (33)
