Before playing his first LSL match, each player needs to sign up for the league's insurance policy, which costs €119 for the 2026/27 season. The link to sign up is here
(Under 23's - please contact Burnsie first).
The insurance covers hoisptial bills, surgery costs for serious injuries sustained in trainng and matches (including friendlies), from the point when you sign up, until the end of the 2026/27 season, .
While it can cover some physio costs, there is a significant excess to pay first, meaning tha you would only be able to recover if you have to go to a large number of physio sessions. If you have your own private insruance cover (e,g, through Aviva, VHI or Irish Life), you have to claim through that before using the league policy.
Full details of the coverage and benefits are available here.
(Note that this registration is separate to your registraation with the FAI as a player. Burnsie will look after that .There's a €4 cost per player which the club will cover for everyone.)

Fundraisers
We ran a successful golf classic in July in Greystones Golf Club, the first such event in many years, and it raised almost €4,000 for the club.
We expect we'll run at least two more fundraisers, and we would appreciate your help in supporting these by getting as many freinds as you can signed up:
There will be a Premier League Goals Challenge, where you pick a few players to score goals in Premier League games during the season. We run two of these, one from September to Christmas, and another from Februrary til the end of the season. And we will be renewing our ever popular US Masters Golf fundraiser in April.
