Peter Tierney
Position: ST
Joining the club in the summer of 2017 after a spell with Farm United, the Kilkenny native made a prolific start to his second team career, with a debut goal away at Hyde Park on the opening day of the season, and five goals in his first six appearances in total. Peter is a powerful forward with a good turn of pace and a rocket of a shot, and made his first team debut in an early-season defeat at Rush Athletic.
He finished the 2017/18 season as second team top goalscorer with 12 goals, and also notched a brace for the firsts in their crucial draw against St Mochta's.
Although injury largely ruled him out of the 2018/19 campaign, he returned to fitness in time to feature in several late-season matches for Eoin Dunne's Premier side, and despite another season plagued by fitness issues during 2019/20, he notched home and away against Stella East Wall.
