Paul Lydon
Position: M C / ST
A stylish centre forward who is as adept at creating chances for others as he is at finishing them himself, the Galway man is brilliant at leading the line, combining wiry physical strength with an instant first touch and awareness of space.
Paul made a breakthrough at first team level with an extraordinary run of goalscoring in late 2013 before being interrupted yet again by injury, which kept him out for more than a year. However he has fought back to re-establish himself as the club’s top striker.
The 2016/17 season saw him showcase his versatility on the field, playing in midfield either in an advanced or holding role as the first team saw a renaissance of form under the management of Stephen Faherty, and he remained almost ever-present in that role during the 2017/18 campaign, netting his final ever Seaford goal with a brilliant diving header .against CIE Ranch
