It's a frenetic start to the 2019/20 season , as both Seaford sides start their respective campaigns on Saturday and Monday.
First up it's the Premiers who face Stella East Wall at Rockfield Park (Saturday, 12.00pm). Eoin Dunne's side endured a poor start to the 2018/19 season but rebounded with a strong run after Christmas to secure a fifth-place finish, one spot below their opponents this weekend. But with a much more settled look to the line-up this time around, they'll be confident of firing on all cylinders from the outset. Last time out, the visitors did the league double over Seaford, dishing out a 5-0 hiding in Drumcondra before edging a much closer return match at Rockfield Park, but it was Dunner's army who had the last laugh, producing a fine display to rout the Northsiders in the Wynne Cup. It'll be a quick turnaround for the men in maroon, who travel to face LSL newcomers St Michael's in Brickfield Park 48 hours later (Monday, 6.45pm). The same evening, the Majors will host Sacred Heart Firhouse Clover in the club's first ever match in LSL Saturday Major 1A at Rockfield Park (Monday, 6.45pm) in a tie that brings together two sides respectively promoted and relegated to that level.
