The LSL winter transfer window has now closed, with January seeing a coupe of Seaford players move on to pastures new by joining intermediate clubs. Goalkeeper Eoin English has signed for Greystones United after 18 months with Seaford. Eoin was first-team keeper for much of his time with Seaford, and indeed the highlight of his spell was his extraordinary display in the Leinster Junior Cup penalty shoot-out win over his new club in September 2015. And Jimmy Hussey made a return to his former side Home Farm, playing in the second flight of the Leinster Senior League. The former Longford Town midfielder had been badly hampered by injury during his time with the club, having made just a single start since December 2015. We thank both Eoin and Jimmy for their time with Seaford and wish them all the best with their new clubs. Meanwhile, the squad has been boosted by the arrival of several new players for the second half of the season, including former Bray Wanderers man Conor Geoghegan, who joins his younger brothers Oisin and Fionn at the club.
