Both teams are back in action this weekend, with the Majors kicking things off with a trip south to face Wicklow Rovers as they begin their campaign in the FAI New Balance Junior Cup, with a 7.30pm kick off in Wicklow town.
It's a third cup fixture in succession for the side, who have made a decent start to the season. With three wins from four in Major 1B, they twice held higher-ranked opponents to 1-1 draws in the Noel Ryan Cup and Leinster Junior Shield, only to experience mixed fortunes in the resultant penalty shoot-outs, knocking out Tolka Rovers before losing out against Bangor Celtic. On Saturday, the Premier team will look to get its campaign back on track with a league match against Rivervalley Rangers. It's been a difficult start to the season for Eoin Dunne's men, who have yet to pick up a point after three matches, but the visitors haven't fared any better from their two games, and with Seaford welcoming some key players back into the line-up after absence, they'll be confident of getting off the mark
