Match Report: Kilmore Celtic 3-3 Seaford Rock United
LSL Premier Superleague Group B

Seaford’s Premiers battled to a topsy-turvy draw out in Coolock in the March sunshine to maintain their unbeaten start to the new competition against a strong and determined Kilmore Celtic outfit.
The visitors got off to the perfect start when Eoin Healy’s booming header from his own half landed at the feet of Richie Mulholland who coolly slotted home for his second goal of the season within two minutes. Kilmore equalised when their number 9 latched onto a diagonal pass to finish into the bottom corner on 15 minutes. The home side almost took the lead on the half hour mark when a shot deflected off Healy onto the post and into safety. Seaford soaked up the pressure to close out the half, with captain Steve Kane leading by example.
The Penguins had struggled to get a foothold in the first half started superbly after the interval when Mullholland ’s brilliant run down the right ended up with him squaring for top scorer Colin Barrett to bury for his 7th of the campaign. However, they were pegged back again on 58 minutes when the number 7 dribbled through to make it 2-2. Celtic threatened with some long range efforts but Gavin Nugent’s handling was exemplary throughout.
Mullholland almost made it 3-2 but his low effort was brilliantly turned around the post but the Kilmore keeper. Mate Salacan went close with a free-kick as Seaford were more dangerous side in the closing stages. Barrett’s tireless running was rewarded with 13 minutes to go when he crossed from the byline for substitute Joe O'Hara to bundle home his debut Penguins goal.
However, there was a sting in the tail when the No 12 turned quickly in the box with 5 mins on the clock to make it 3-3. A good point for the Maroons but they could have easily left Oscar Traynor Park with the 3 points.
