Match Report: Hartstown Huntstown FC 2-0 Seaford Rock United
LSL Sat Major 1c

Seaford were comprehensively beaten on their return to action for the new year, turning in a lousy performance which was effortlessly bested by a solid and lively Hartstown side.
The home side were on the front foot from the outset, with Jarvis Dolan firing in a powerful shot which Eoin English parried onto the crossbar, before Aidan Lyons slipped a clever pass into man-of-the-match Lee Moran, who prodded his shot inches wide.
Moran made no mistake just before the half hour mark, finishing a swift counter-attack following a Seaford corner by running on to an Aidan Lyons pass and slotting into the net.
And the same man made it 2-0 minutes later with an extraodinary solo goal. Picking up a loose ball deep in his own half, he burst upfield, cutting in from the right wing as the Seaford defence retreated and retreated, before lifting a perfect 25-yard chip over English into the back of the net.
The visitors' best opportunity arrived late in the half, as Ryan Scollard played a one-two with Jimmy Hussey before shanking the ball wide with his left foot from close range.
The second half was thoroughly uneventful, a testament to Hartstown's resilience and Seaford's impotence.
Without a single shot on target all match, the visiting team was lucky to get nil.
Seaford: E English; S Kane, J Bannon (T Crichlow, 65), C Fahy, P Costello; A Finnegan (P Shelton, 46), J Hussey, R O'Huiginn (M Sullivan, 65), M Cullen; R Scollard, P Lydon.
Hartstown: E Durkan, D Murray, T Martin, M Golledge, L Moran, J Dolan, N Murphy, A Lyons, D Walsh, M Walsh, L Moran
