Fionn Geoghegan
Position: D RC, M C

Like his brother Oisin, Fionn had made sporadic appearances in previous seasons before establishing himself at the club in 2016. A versatile defender with an abundance of quality on the ball, Fionn made himself a mainstay of the first team following Stephen Faherty’s appointment to the job in October 2016, and contributed some important assists as the season went on, none moreso than when his whipped free-kick forced the winning goal, deflected off a defender's head, in the dramatic home win over eventual champions Booth Road Celtic in April 2017..
During the 2017/18 season he became an increasingly important player for the firsts, often deployed in midfield where he gave several assured performances, and captained the side for the first time in the final match of the season at Hartstown.
After another spell with Mount Merrion, Fionn returned to Seaford late in the 2019/20 season, and his sensational performances for the Premiers were rewarded by a call-up to the Majors where he continued to perform with characteristic composure, grit and quality..
