Colin Barrett
Position: ST

The most natural goalscorer the club has seen in recent years, the Barman combines a turn of pace with a superb work ethic and an opportunistic finishing ability, and was voted second team player of the year for the 2012/13 season
Nicknamed the Awkward Messi (formerly, Awkward Marlon Harewood) in recognition both of his unorthodox running style and his reliability in front of goal, Collie’s finest hour in a Seaford jersey was when he registered a brace in the final of the 2014 Arthur Lynch Cup final, his first a brave diving header amongst defenders’ boots, his second just moments later a stunning solo run past three defenders followed by an emphatic finish.
After a brief retirement, he returned to the club in late 2017 and marked his return to action with a fine display and a goal in a cup defeat against Mid Sutton Sportslink.
In 2018/19, he re-established himself with the Majors, coming off the bench to score a brace against Booth Road Celtic in the Ryan Cup.
He was once again in fine form in the 2021/22 season, getting off to a flying start with a first-half hat-trick for the Premiers in their dramatic win over MPFC, and finishing the season with his first double-figure tally in eight years.
