In a match desperately lacking in quality, Blackrock posed a big threat from Charlie Greally’s slingshot throw-ins.
From a Greally launch, Mark Naughton’s deflected effort forced a stunning save from Oisin Geoghegan, and from the same source, Eamonn McCann volleyed just wide.
If Rock’s attacks were somewhat one-dimensional, that was still arguably better than Seaford, whose best effort was when Eoin Kenny volleyed just over from Adam O'Shea’s whipped cross.
In truth it was a game neither team deserved to win, and they didn’t.
